Rest House "Blue Wave" on the shore of Lake Sevan

Rest House "Blue Wave" was built in the place where the Hrazdan River flows into Lake Sevan. The building faces east towards the mirror of Lake Sevan. It is located on sites with a level difference of about 4.5 m, which allows for the building to be perceived as a one-and-a-half storey complex when approaching it, merging with the horizontal landscape. From the inside, it is perceived as an ensemble of platforms on three levels, opening onto a panorama of Lake Sevan. In the spatial composition of the Rest House, three-storey blocks located on four different levels and the volume of the indoor pool stand out, which are connected by a lobby, a corridor and a cafe hall. There is also a small conference room on the ground floor. On the same level, vacationers can go to the outdoor pool.

The overall concept of the Rest House is inspired by the blue waves washed ashore and crowned with white foam. The building is made of white concrete, on which the blue glass surfaces and the roof stand out. The holiday house has quality service and is open all year round.
