Historical and cultural substantiation and integrated preservation of historical monuments of Yerevan

The project aims to clarify the list of monuments of Yerevan, identify conditions for the preservation of valuable monuments of material culture created over the centuries and determine the possibilities for the further development of the historical centre. The project addressed the following matters:

- Analysis of the spatial, structural and image changes in the process of city development and identification of the quality of urban planning characteristics acquired at each development stage

- Drafting historical-architectural and historical-urban-planning base plans and classifying monuments according to their compositional influence

- Proposals for revalorization of some parts of the historical centre of the capital.
